JPS "Bus" The Sunshine Girls

The Sunshine Chalet - (home of the Sunshine Girls) was abuzz with excitement recently, as a number of persons gathered to witness the handover of a bus from JPS to the Sunshine Girls.

This bus is expected to play an integral role in the development of netball in the island as it will facilitate the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) administration being able to; take netball to the highways and the byways, develop the sport and identify potential netball "greats" for the national team

More than just a company of poles and lines, JPS takes its corporate social responsibility seriously. We believe in strengthening the communities we serve, and our employees are actively involved in community projects, such as mentoring and teaching, and helping to raise funds for charitable organizations.

The Company’s efforts are primarily focused on education, health and sports at the national and community level. Many of our education support programmes are designed to assist talented but needy students. Our commitments include scholarships, a basic school nutrition programme, a homework center in Old Harbour Bay, as well as direct support for educational institutions and medical facilities.
